Residential and commercial interiors

Interior design

We design interiors as part of architecture and everyday life. Starting with function and patterns of use, we build a coherent atmosphere through materials, light, colour, furniture and detail. The scope can cover a whole property or selected rooms.

Survey and a conversation about daily life

We begin by measuring the rooms and checking the position of services, ventilation, windows and load-bearing walls. In parallel we discuss the number of residents, daily routines, storage needs and the intended budget. This stage determines which changes are feasible at all, and which would require structural work or agreement from the building manager.

A layout that works every day

We analyse movement, storage, ergonomics and the relationships between rooms. Homes are shaped around residents’ routines; commercial spaces also require attention to service, display and the customer journey. Function is resolved before colour because it determines comfort long after the work is complete.

Materials, light and built-ins

Materials are selected for appearance, durability, maintenance and budget. Lighting is developed with the layout, while bespoke furniture responds to particular needs. Visualisations help assess the whole, but every decision shown in an image must translate into a clear and buildable solution.

Clear information for contractors

Depending on scope, we prepare plans, wall elevations, floor and ceiling layouts, material and lighting schedules and drawings of bespoke elements. Organised information reduces interpretation on site and supports accurate pricing. We can also respond to construction queries and help maintain alignment with the agreed design.

Visualisations that settle decisions

For each room we prepare visualisations showing the actual materials, colours and lighting. They are not only a presentation tool — they allow variants to be compared, proportions to be checked and finishes to be confirmed before anything is ordered. A change to an image costs a few hours of work; a change on site costs many times more.

Site support and contact with contractors

On request we accompany the construction stage: verifying that work follows the design, reviewing proposed substitutions and helping resolve situations that could not be anticipated at documentation stage. We also support contact with suppliers of joinery, stone or lighting so that orders match the agreed solutions.

Frequently asked questions

Interior design — questions and answers

How much does an interior design project cost?

Pricing depends on floor area, the number of rooms and the scope of documentation. A concept with visualisations is priced differently from full working documentation with joinery drawings and schedules. After reviewing the floor plan and a short conversation about expectations, we provide a specific quotation.

How long does an interior design project take?

For a flat or a single-family house, usually from several weeks to a few months, depending on scope and how quickly decisions are made. The concept approval stage has the greatest influence on the schedule — the sooner the layout and material direction are agreed, the faster the documentation follows.

How does an interior architect differ from a decorator?

An interior architect also addresses the functional layout, services, lighting and contractor documentation — decisions taken before finishing begins. A decorator works mainly on the visual layer of a completed interior. In practice, some solutions can only be introduced at an early stage.

Do you design interiors outside Chojnice?

Yes. The studio is based in Chojnice, but we also deliver interior projects in Czersk, Człuchów, Tuchola, Brusy and further across the Pomeranian region. Some meetings are held remotely, with site visits planned at key moments — during the survey and construction.

Does the project include bespoke furniture?

Yes, where this is part of the agreed scope. We prepare drawings of kitchen units, wardrobes, bathroom joinery and built-ins in enough detail for a joiner to price and manufacture them without guesswork.

Can I order the concept only, without working documentation?

You can. Some clients need only the functional layout and material direction, and manage the rest with their contractor. It is worth knowing that without working drawings more decisions are taken on site, which usually extends the works and makes comparing quotations harder.
